Vincenzo "Enzo" DeVita
Enzo has been in the floral design business for much of his life. He is a third-generation designer in the family's flower business. The family originally started the Ikebana Flower Shop in 1955 in Naples, Italy. In 1975, the DeVitas moved to Rome and started another successful location called The DeVita Flower Shop. Both locations are still being operated and are very successful.
In 1987, Enzo came to the United States and has worked with the same Los Angeles-area floral specialty shop until 1999. Originally called Ray's Affordable Flowers and now the highly-acclaimed Mark's Gardens, Enzo was one of the main floral designers with this company. As a floral designer, he specialized in the area's many galas and major events. Enzo personally designed and directed many of the floral decorations of the 1997, 1998 and 1999 Academy Awards. Other outstanding events that established his reputation include the 1996 wedding of Steven Tisch in Napa Valley and the wedding of Brooke Shields and Andre Agassi in Carmel.
Corporate clients and their special needs are also a focus on Enzo's business. At Mark's Gardens, his regular clients included Microsoft, Dreamworks SKG Movie Studios, the Walt Disney Company, the Ritz-Carlton Pasadena, the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Bel-Air Country Club.
Since his recent entry into the Orange County area, Enzo has coordinated special events and weddings at such locatons as Las Brisas Restaurant, The Irvine Marriott, The Costa Mesa Marriott Suites, The Westin South Coast Plaza, The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, The Pelican Hill Country Club in Newport Beach and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.
